Benjamin A. Kuzma, Ph.D.

Postdoctoral Fellow in the Evans Group at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine (MGH/HMS)

I am a hockey player turned scientist. In 2015, I graduated from Assumption University (formerly Assumption College) with a B.A. majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. I received my Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Long Island University in 2020 under the guidance of Prof. Grazia Stagni. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Evans Group at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine (MGH/HMS).

My interests include percutaneous drug delivery (topical/ transdermal), pharmacokinetic modeling, and the standardization of tissue monitoring techniques for cutaneous bioavailability/bioequivalence assessments. Of particular interest to me is the percutaneous pharmacokinetic fundamentals that the industry operates on.
